Shoe shopping with celebrities and more

30 Sep

Okay, I realized I was on the brink of turning this blog into a fan-blog of models, so I’ve decided to give you your weekly dose of the addictive combination of celebrities and shoes 😉

In the first part of the post, here are five ladies either on a shopping spree or promoting/launching a shoe line.

Carmen Electra a few months ago:

Christina Milian recently:

Avril Lavigne seems to like heels, not just Converse:

The day came when Paris Hilton had to start working. Sort of.

Tennis star Maria Sharapova shows her feminine side:

As for the second part of the post, here are a few examples how famous ladies wore the timeless Lady Peep pumps made by Christian Louboutin:

I should have posted this a long time ago!

Last but not least, Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester already wore the sandals of Burberry’s Spring 2012 collection:

This is it for now, I won’t put new posts online on Sunday and Monday since I’ll be travelling, yay!

Model Monday – Cindy Crawford 2.

11 Apr

Obviously, I would have been trendy if I would have posted Jessica Alba this week – her editorial in Vogue Italia’s April issue is absolutely stunning. However, Cindy Crawford’s line at shoe shop Deichmann continues to exist, which means nothing else that they have to shoot campaigns with her every season.

Here’s Cindy’s new shoot:

Download all of them in high (really high) resolution here.

Have you ever shopped at Deichmann? Do you actually own a pair of the Cindy Crawford Collection?

That’s not all, I have good news for my readers in the US!

2011: lift-off

14 Jan

After a long-long time, I am officially back and taking care of my tiny blog. I have finished my studies and I’ll start working soon, and in the meantime I basically re-launch the blog.

To do that, I have some of cutest shoes from France here for you as well as pictures of different famous ladies shopping shoes.

It is winter, so I think it’s appropriate to start with the boots:

One day, I’d like to take a look at Ciara’s shoe closet 🙂 This is the first time I’ve seen the “Toundra” worn outside of photo shoots.

Do you like these boots? Sometimes Mr Louboutin has crazy ideas, I like them!

Sofia Vergara’s pumps are more conservative:

Garcelle Beauvais wore one of the prettiest pairs by this brand that night:

Look, Kim and Khloe couldn’t find their shoes 🙂 Later, they did find them!

I know Brittny’s boots aren’t Louboutin, but I had to include these pictures.

Okay, so Kim goes to the gym to work out and when she returns, she has to big Louboutin bags in her hand. Did anything like this happen to you before? 😀

The last picture for this post is a collage of Rihanna having a great time while visiting Barney’s.

That’s it, I hope you like what you see 🙂

Simply the best

8 Jul

I’ve been a bit behind but I feel like I’m doing quite well on catching up lately 🙂

Let’s start with a very recent event. As you know, in Paris it’s fashion week again:

Anna Mouglalis’ shoes look like the Round-Toe Straight-Heel Pump to me, while Blake Lively wore ‘Alta Spritney‘, Leighton Meester wore the ‘Loubout‘ and Jessica Alba donned the ‘Bridget‘.

At an earlier fashion week this year (during Spring), Louis Vuitton presented this much debated collection:

Presented by (from l2r, upper row: Laetitia Casta, Adriana Lima, Karolina Kurkova, Alessandra Ambrosio, from l2r, bottom row: Bar Refaeli, Rosie Huntington, Elle MacPherson and ofc Marc Jacobs)

A few weeks ago, these clothes and shoes looked good even far away from the runway, at a LV store opening in London:

This season is all about Miu Miu. Their shoes are more popular than ever:

The one that Katy Perry wore has been presented already in this post.

Now on to a simple yet marvelous piece:

Stella McCartney‘s resort collection is fairly popular in the blogosphere, I have the feeling you’re going to like this pair! Heels: 11cm, platform: 1 cm, price: $800.

The final picture of this post is all about shoe shopping again. This seems to be something that is painful for someone and a lot of fun for someone else 😀

Hope you enjoyed this post, the one is likely to appear on Sunday.

Have a nice weekend – Friday won’t be too long 😉
