Popular and spectacular

14 Dec

Brian Atwood created one of the most well known shoes of 2010 and his brand is popular more than ever. This post starts with an update on his shoes:

The next one is Nicholas Kirkwood and his timeless creations:

You wear Kirkwood at the British Fashion Awards, right?

Kim wore Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte heels.

The last big brand of this post is Louis Vuitton:

I hope you found at least one pair that goes right into your Christmas wish list!

…or whatever 🙂 Simply tons of shoes!

This pair by Aldo seems to be more popular than ever. For $105, why not?

Both shoes have 11,5 cm heels and the “Faithful” costs $1.155!

Wanna grow quickly? 🙂 Get Casadei‘s trademark (triple) platform pumps!

I’ve created a collage entirely out of Ciara’s looks, because I consider her one of the best dressed these days. At least from the aspect of her shoes, she surely is. Always new shoes, fantastic outfits. In the last two pictures, not only her shoes are Balmain and Dsquared respectively, but also the dresses.

Imagine yourself in Balmain from head to toe 😮 😉

Kim has chosen a classic this time, which matches her dress perfectly. The dress is pretty spectacular, isn’t it?

The “Lance” has 11,5 cm heels, price $640, while the “Zoom” has 11 cm heels and costs around $1.050.

Finally, a Jimmy Choo event in Germany:

This breathtaking pair has 13 cm heels (but a platform as well) and in case you’re interested, prepare to spend $1745!

Any thoughts & favorites?

Zee Germans

After a couple of days of absence [there’s so much work and travelling to do these days :S ] I’m back again to make a mega-post again, with a subject that will surprise many of you.

Mainly, because I bet you don’t know the people you’ll see in a few moments 🙂 Since I live in Europe, the German influence is massive in many parts of our everyday life. However, in the case of the shoes, shoe design, it’s a bit different.

It looks like the most famous ladies in the country that gave us Karl Lagerfeld, Jil Sander, Hugo Boss and Escada wouldn’t care that much about high-fashion, especially not about shoes, unlike their colleagues do in France, Britain or even in Italy. Of course, you can see some well-known pair every now and then, but I wonder what the reason behind this phenomenon is.

Now I’m going to show you a lot of German – even if some names don’t sound sooo German – ladies: TV hosts, singers, actresses, models, athletes, society chicks (aka useless people), bands.

I’m really interested in your opinions! How do you like what you see? Did you know any of them?

Paquita from a noble family

23 Feb

There’re so many new arrivals everywhere! This time, I present you Mr Louboutin’s new sandals, called Paquita.

When I first saw them, I had the feeling that it is going to be the ladies favourite for this summer. Well, we’ll see:)

Some days later, to my surprise, I saw pictures of the German singer Sarah Connor attending the Echo awards wearing these shoes. This is a surprise to me, because in Germany Louboutin, YSL, Jimmy Choo, etc. are not that popular, we rarely see anyone wearing designer shoes. Times do change.

I’ve got a question for those who didn’t know Sarah: what do think of her, do you like her look?

Almost forgot…the prize tag of the Paquitas has $995 written on it…

PS. When the ballet ‘Paquita’ was written, nobody thought about dancing in heels:)
