Charlotte Olympia – 2011 in pictures

21 Dec

It’s been a while since the last post including shoes by Charlotte Olympia, so I looked for some pictures that I haven’t posted so far and now I share these looks with you. Of course, there have been a number of CO shoe sightings, like this one here, but today I’m dedicating the whole post to the English designer.

The trademark platform – it really makes these shoes special!

Celebrities like Katy Perry, Sarah Jessica Parker and Blake Lively are big fans:

Sylvie van der Vaart loves these heels too!

Rosamund Pike wore Charlotte Olympia at the photoshoot & the premiere too!

German TV host Mareile Höppner and the pregnant Hilary Duff are next:

As you know, Kelly Ripa is big fan of shoes, she likes CO in particular:

As the designers webpage says,

“With a design philosophy focused on femininity and inspired by the allure of glamour of old, Charlotte Olympia designs have become synonymous with classic shapes and meticulous attention to detail. Each shoe is handcrafted in Italy using only the finest materials and is finished with the brand’s signature gold spider web on the sole.”

Let’s hope we see more and more spectacular shoes in the future!

We all know the furry ankle boots by Burberry, let me introduce you to the knee-high version of the Aviator boots:

How did you like the Grammy Awards? Let’s see some of the shoes:

The real looker was Jennifer Lopez IMO:

Her Christian Louboutin shoes are not new, but they look still stunning. Oh right, Louboutins, while we’re at it:

The “Lady Peep” is a great example how shoes get higher and higher all the time, its heels are 15 cm high! There is a slingback version of it as well:

As the last part of the post, here are two kinds of boots by the French designer:

You’ve got to know how to wear over the knee boots:

Looks like CL still owns the hearts of celebrities, his dominance on the market/in the shoe closets is obvious. However, I plan to post different brands too next time 🙂
