Model Monday – Top 25 models of 2011

With 2011 almost over, it’s time for top lists. Today, I have selected 25 models who – in my opinion – have an outstanding year behind them. I admit there are a few “big names” missing from this list, but remember, 25 places are simply not enough for 50 ladies and there are also models who I’m not not a big fan of.

What really matters though:

I’d like to thank every single young lady (whether she’s on the list or not) for all the work she’s done this the year. Thank you for being stunningly beautiful, funny (and also for using Twitter). Without you, fashion would not be nearly as interesting as it is – I’m  sure backstage photos with mannequins would turn out always the same. Keep up the great work in 2012!

Charlotte Olympia – 2011 in pictures

It’s been a while since the last post including shoes by Charlotte Olympia, so I looked for some pictures that I haven’t posted so far and now I share these looks with you. Of course, there have been a number of CO shoe sightings, like this one here, but today I’m dedicating the whole post to the English designer.

Model Monday – Nina Reijnders & Victoria Lipatova

This is the last Model Monday this year, I hope you like this shoot. The second to last picture is my total favorite!

Nina is from the Netherlands, while Victoria is from Russia. They’ve done excellent work together with photographer Koray Parlak, the pictures appeared in the December issue of the Turkish Marie Claire.
