Celebrity spotlight: Diane Krüger

16 Jun

Diane Krüger is arguably one of those classy celebrities who really are into fashion and maybe even more importantly, designers like her too. She’s always up-to-date and she always knows what to wear. Here are some of her latest appearances – she really did shine at the Cannes Film Festival back in May this year.

The Katima sandals by Jimmy Choo cost around $950.

The sandals of Givenchy‘s Spring/Summer 2012 collection have caught her eyes too:

This is a very special pair by Nicholas Kirkwood for Prabal Gurung‘s Fall 2012 collection:

Last but not least, here is a $3.400 Pigalle by Christian Louboutin:

What do you think, how do you like Diane Krüger’s style?

If you don’t like boots

…wear these heels instead! These shoes are perfect for any party 🙂

Since it’s always good to start a post with a pair of Loubies, here is the lovely Lea Michele and the “Anna” sandals. She was a guest at Leno a few days ago, this outfit is perfect literally from head to toe.

Fans of Nicholas Kirkwood could spot these heels on Kathleen Robertson:

I wouldn’t say it’s trademark Kirkwood, but it’s still a nice pair without a doubt.

Gwen Stefani usually thinks outside the box when it comes to playing dress-up, this time it wasn’t any different. She was dressed in her own L.A.M.B. products from head to toe – and just look at those crazy wedges:

They remind me of a pair by Giuseppe Zanotti…Nevertheless, it’s very cool.

There has not been a post on this blog which features Ryan Haber shoes so far, so it’s a special moment for the High Heel Times 🙂 Carrie Underwood seems to be promoting the brand’s shoes lately, she wore different pair by Ryan Haber too. I really like this one!

This pair comes not only in purple but in black too. Facts: 1.5″ platform, 5″ heel.

Because life is not always a party, here’s a pair that is office-approved but still very good looking. Yes, it’s the timeless “Maniac” by Brian Atwood:

That’s it for now, have yourself a great weekend!

I bet your coworker doesn’t have these shoes

…so if you want to have a really special pair of shoes, choose one of these!

Selena Gomez has chosen very decorative peep toe pumps for the MTV EMA:

The next pair comes in these two colors, the heel height is 16cm, costs $1.200.

Kelly Brook’s shoes cost $1.145, the heel height is 12 cm. Looks superb!

Blake Lively had a lot of fun celebrating Christian Louboutin’s 20th anniversary:

Camilla Belle wore shoes from Gucci’s SS2012 collection already!

Mena Suvari bought these peep toe, patent slingbacks by Giuseppe Zanotti:

Miranda Kerr never disappoints, look at her heels by Nicholas Kirkwood!

Cameron Diaz still loves Lanvin’s sick heels (see here and here)!

The fab Alessandra Ambrosio picked these sky-high Sergio Rossi heels:

Talk about sky-high shoes! Look at Audrina Patridge and her Versace heels!

Which of these shoes would you love to buy?

Keeping the momentum

As fashion weeks approach, I have to remain focused here on my blog and not post models only. As the first step of this process, here are ten marvelous shoes from not so long ago.

The first one is the “Spikette” pumps by Ruthie Davis, worn by Josie Loren:

Another really special is up next, this is Aperlai, brought to you by Maggie Q:

This is a net sandals with leather detail, comes in black too, costs around $1.000!

To be honest, I expected to see these überhyped Miu Miu heels a lot more often this summer than I actually did…

Good thing is, the beautiful Camilla Belle gave it a shot and put them on!

Here’s proof that Nicholas Kirkwood can design shoes that do not have Kirkwood written all over them:

Do you still like these shoes?

Talk about less well-known shoes! Here’s one from Stella McCartney:

The next one didn’t become the most popular shoes of all time either, but I think it still looks good:

These Tommy Hilfiger sandals are pure summer, right?

After three pair of shoes that might be new to you, here is the trademark Sergio Rossi pair:

Who wore it better? Emilia Clarke or Emma Roberts?

Okay, let’s look for something more affordable. Yes, Aldo!

The first one is like $90, comes in “bone” and purple, and has a 5 inch heel with a 0.75 inch platform:

The second pair comes in red and black (both suede), has a bit higher heels than 4 inches and costs around $110:

I saved the best for last again! Kerry Washington wore these shoes by Gio Diev back in July at the ESPY Awards:
