Heel attack

13 Aug

This post is a massive shoe post again and I have a number of different heels for you. Actually, I do: from pin heels to wedges, all shapes of heels appear below.

I start with a literally breathtaking event of this week. I wonder why nobody has hired this or a similar trio so far to sell cars, football jerseys or basically anything else to men…

Candice, you act like a real bitch, but/that’s why I like you.

We knew Zanotti was crazy, we saw already some of his wedges, but we (or at least I) haven’t seen these boots so far.

Up next this is Miu Miu, here are two of their best selling pairs of this summer:

Lovely, isn’t it?

Avril in heels, I know…I’m not sure whether I should believe my eyes or not.

It’s time for wedges again! British designer Terry de Havilland re-started his brand, they have a new website and they seem to be popular again!

Talk about fascinating designs – here’s Givenchy:

The dress is pretty cool as well, right?

Who’s watching the Big Bang Theory? Looks like Penny from next door doesn’t always wear flip flops 🙂

What kind of shoe post would it be if Christian Louboutin wouldn’t be featured?

Note Myleene’s ankle!

The last one for today is Jimmy Choo, represented by three pairs:

Sooo…what are your opinions about these shoes?

PS: Apropos, heel attack. When I was in London a few weeks ago, I read the following news: “A woman who kicked her stiletto heel through her boyfriend’s eye and into his brain has been cleared of all charges on the orders of a judge.” In what kind of sick world do we live in?

Atwood and YSL megapost

27 Jul

Because of my trip to London (yay!) I’m not sure when I’ll post again, so I leave you with a massive post of Brian Atwood’s pumps and YSL’s renaissance till then!

Now, the YSL part:

Obviously, YSL shoes have an evolution but also older pairs are worn again. They turned out to be proper classic designs! Are you OK with that or do you think YSL needs to release something new again?

I hope to be able to post on Thursday again, until then, good bye!

PS: If you have any (fashion related) suggestions what I should see in London next week, drop me a line! I know about the ‘Maison Martin Margiela ’20’ ‘ exhibition already, I hope to see something else as well. TY!

THE update

10 Apr

Low bandwith users, be careful…

Hi there, I’m still here, though I had no time to post this week. I know posting doesn’t take too much time usually, but this time, trust me it takes:)

The reason for that is that I’ve made the update I’ve written about here. This update tries to show which shoes are the most popular these days among the (wannabe)famous women. I’m sure the list isn’t full; the pictures that I’ve used for this post have been made between January and the very recent days 🙂

I suppose you click on the images to see all the details; the pictures here are thumbnails compared to the originals.

Let’s start with YSL and it’s oldest hit, the Tribute pump, mentioned here already:

___

Next, it’s the Tribute Platform T-Strap, that is maybe even more successfull than the the TP. I’ve written about them here and here.

___

Now, it’s time for the biggest sensation, the Tribute Double Platform. Posts about this can be found here and here.

___

Now that you have enough of YSL, I change the subject, it’s time for a certain Mr Choo 🙂 You can find the post about the Corsica sandal here and you can see the one with the Glenys by clicking here.

___

Jimmy Choo’s biggest rival, Christian Louboutin has also got returning costumers. Did you think I wouldn’t post anything about le magicien? 🙂 Two sandals, which – now it’s sure – are making the biggest impact this summer are the:

(posted already here) and the

that I have mentioned here (Heidi Klum) and here (Audrina Partridge and Debra Messing).

___

Speaking of platform ankle sandals, I’m sure you remember Gucci‘s hit that I’ve written about here and over here. There are new fans on board! Unfortunately, I couldn’t include any pictures of La C.’s pair, because… 😉

___

Last but not least, I’ve some other shoes which also got in the spotlight during the last few months:

You can see Jordana’s pumps here, Megan’s boots here, Vivica’s Balenciagas here and Rihanna’s marvellous sandals here and here.

___

I hope you enjoyed this little collection, maybe I’ve also encouraged you to buy a pair or two:)
