Guess what, shoes!

2 Nov

With all the celebrations over, it’s time to focus on posting shoes again. Before I move on to the 11 pairs in this post, let me just share some statistics from the blog with you.

Thank you everyone!

Okay, let’s see what you came for. These are all shoe sightings that I couldn’t post so far.

The first is Jessica Alba on the cover of the July (I’m sorry) issue of Fairlady Magazine:

The shoes are Michael Kors, seen here worn by Karolina Kurkova.

It’s been a while since Brian Atwood shoes were featured. Knock yourself out; Emma Roberts, Kristen Bell, Ashley Tisdale, Minka Kelly, Kyle Richards, Jennifer Lopez and Rachel Bilson love these heels.

Up next this is Isla Fisher in Christian Louboutin “Bibi” pumps:

Evan Rachel Wood likes to think outside the box, she decided to wear Elie Saab:

Michelle Monaghan in the two tone pumps by Versace:

Last but not least a pair of shoes by YSL that I’m not a big fan of – I think it’s ugly, to be plain and simple:

Aubrey O’Day and Eliza Dushku have different opinions.

That’s it for now. Return on Friday & I promise you there will be a new post 🙂

Cooler than cool

24 Feb

Fashion Weeks obviously dominate these days, no wonder this post starts with Karolina Kurkova and her Michael Kors heels (she wore them to Michael Kors’ 30th Anniversary Party too):

Be prepared to spend around $1.300 if you really like this pair… 5.5″ heels, 1″ platform.

Next up this is a designer we never had on the blog: Fergie. I mean, the brand. The shoes are much cheaper than those Michael Kors heels. The first one costs $110, the second even less, $89. Both have seriously high, 5.75″ heels!

Brian Atwood‘s Summer 2011 collection can already get spotted:

You can get Atwood heels in different colors too, don’t you worry 🙂

To close this post with, here are a few YSL sightings of recent weeks:

Check back in a few days for the new post!

Winter IS here

28 Nov

There are these six girls living in various big cities of the world, all of them are aware of the fact that winter is approaching. The High Heel Times has asked them to show their three favorite shoes: the one that they would wear at work, the one that they would pull on if they’d go to a party and their boots for the colder days.

Whitney‘s selection surely has been influenced by a certain socialite’s look and she loves to wear the flat OTK boots when shopping.

Imogen in LA is neither afraid of winter nor of spending a lot of money. She also likes to keep it high and I can’t blame her.

Nicole is like the perfect British girl: trendy when at work, wears sky-high heels when she goes to a party and keeps it comfy and casual in her free time.

Thérése is classy. She wears elegant pumps to work, crazy mohawk pumps at du club and designer boots that are totally in right now.

Elisabetta living “next door” likes to look fab as well. The hot pair by Valentino grabbed her attention as well, but she prefers the flat one for work. Her heels for the night out are spectacular, just like her fluffy boots.

Rumiko mixes it all: lace up ankle boots for work, wild boots (?) for parties and statement boots for colder days.

How do you like what you see? What do you like these days?

This is it or nothing!

22 Sep

I love it how Andre Leon Talley said this sentence in The September Issue.

It might be spot on for the following shoes:

Costs around $1300!

Costs “only” around $900. Pretty, isn’t it?

A bit shocking design (I never thought someone would wear it with a dress), but Burberry have similar boots too. It’ll be trendy this autumn/winter. Price: $1250.

The last for this post is the magnificent Sarah Jessica Parker who I strongly consider as one of the Shoe Queens. Her shoe closet must be like wonderland, she looks amazing again:

These sandals cost $1380, not cheap either. Look fantastic though!

London Fashion Week is over – Milan Fashion Week has started today, yay!
