Show me your heels!

12 Nov

This is the sentence that Ferguson and Leno could have said to their guests. Looks like Craig has a thing for shoes lol!

Kristen Bell

Sophia Bush

Juliette Lewis (in Jimmy Choo)

Heidi Klum

But that’s not all. I also happen to have a few new shoes to present!

To begin with, here’s Leighton Meester wearing brand new Jimmy Choos:

The next pair of heels is an even more amazing design:

Not only does this pair look extreme, it also less comfy than usual heels:

Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz recently explained that he had to scrap a lot of the heels in his spring 2011 show because “We did the rehearsal and all of a sudden I saw the girls couldn’t walk. I saw the agony in their faces. They were shaking; they looked like alcoholic girls.” Yet celebrities, who like to remind the world they are special enough to get to wear items now that were on the runway weeks ago, are wearing them anyway! Gwyneth Paltrow wore the spring 2011 mesh pumps from look 39 to the Country Strong premiere last night. “I’m in pain,” she told People of the stilettos. “I feel like I’m in a torture vice.” But she didn’t look like a sloppy drunk in the pictures, and when you’re Gwyneth that’s what really matters.

The next one should be better for your feet:

These shoes cost $850 and they could be the next hit by Brian Atwood.

Kelly Brook has a different one by him, it’s with ankle straps:

Last but not least, here’s Eva Mendes in Prada literally from head to toe. The dress is from the new Spring/Summer 2011 collection, while the shoes are the patent version of the already known one.

This is one of best looks I’ve seen by her. Wow.

That’s all for now, have a great weekend yourself!

Stop playin’ with my mind

22 Oct

Five pairs by some of the world’s biggest brands are featured in this post.

I’m never sure about Juliette Lewis. No really, think about it. One day she’s Rock’nRoll Girl, the next day she’s wearing a LPD (Little Pink Dress) and Jimmy Choos. Versatile, okay, let’s go with that. Apparently, this is the shoe from Jimmy Choo’s PEP Project from last winter. LOVE.

Wolke is unknown for most of you, I’m pretty sure about it. She’s one of those German ladies who looks okay most of the times – that says it all. The young actress did attend the Emporio Armani store opening not so long ago, no wonder she wore Armani right at the very next event. These shoes look good; 12 cm heels, less than $600, who needs more?

My apologies for not posting Kendra and her McQueen pumps earlier. To have a little McQueen collage, I’ve put her pictures right under those of Naomi Campbell and her rather shocking and at the same time, amazing boots. What a contrast! The boots look mcqueen-ish, while the pumps look perfectly normal (as long as you forget about the skulls). While Kendra didn’t spend more than $1.000 on her shoes, Naomi may have spent much more than $3.000 – the ankle boot of this collection costs $2.900.

The last one in this post are the high heel gladiators by Versace. 3 cm platform, 14 cm heel; $1.100. We’ve seen cheaper gladiators already, this isn’t cheap, and while’re we’re at it, just a quick fyi: Michelle has the gold edition as well. It looks like sometimes money doesn’t play a role at shopping at all.

Anyway, enjoy:

That’s it for now, have a great weekend. If I’ll be able to post, expect it to happen on Sunday.

Until then, bye bye!

Uniqueness vs. popularity: platforms

6 Jul

There haven’t been too many shoes by Roberto Cavalli on my blog, which makes this pair pretty unique:

15 cm heels,  4 cm platforms, € 745 (ca. $930) – definitely a nice design!

I’m a big fan of Charlotte Olympia‘s work, despite we can’t spot her shoes too often.

15,5 cm heels, 3,5 cm platforms, € 670(ca. $840) – it isn’t cheap either.

Talk about expensive and really high shoes; here’s Fendi‘s trademark pair of this summer:

Now it’s time for the über-popular shoes by Sergio Rossi. I’ve written about it here already, but now I had to feature these pairs in my post again since they have flooded the streets (or at least the red carpets):

I hope to be able to post on Thursday again, you might want to drop by 🙂

Please don’t – those boots…

18 Apr

For this post I’ve found some outfits matched with ridiculous boots.

There are good looking boots, we all know that, but these ladies’ choices weren’t exactly brilliant.

Next week I’ll be back with actually inspired posts, this week has been too tiring for me, sorry. I hope you all had a relaxing weekend!
