Fine stuff

20 Jan

In this post I aim to present you shoes which don’t see everywhere – not standard Louboutins or YSLs (no offense).

The first one is by Manolo Blahnik, it should ring a bell with every SATC fan:

This beauty has 4.25″ heels and costs $945.

The next one is from Italy, it is the pair by Valentino that is well known among fashionistas but we haven’t seen them worn by celebrities too often, did we?

Lanvin produces shoes that are somewhat extraordinary, just look at these:

The pair worn by Michelle Monaghan is of the Resort 2011 collection and you should be already familiar (here and here) with the one worn here by Anne Hathaway.

The last two pairs are by Giuseppe Zanotti who never fails to deliver.

Mila Kunis’ “Bow sandals” come in nude, black and leopard. Cute, right?

This is it for now; which one do you like most?

Atwood and YSL megapost

27 Jul

Because of my trip to London (yay!) I’m not sure when I’ll post again, so I leave you with a massive post of Brian Atwood’s pumps and YSL’s renaissance till then!

Now, the YSL part:

Obviously, YSL shoes have an evolution but also older pairs are worn again. They turned out to be proper classic designs! Are you OK with that or do you think YSL needs to release something new again?

I hope to be able to post on Thursday again, until then, good bye!

PS: If you have any (fashion related) suggestions what I should see in London next week, drop me a line! I know about the ‘Maison Martin Margiela ’20’ ‘ exhibition already, I hope to see something else as well. TY!

Those Louboutins again!

2 Jun

As it has probably appeared to you, I haven’t been posting Louboutins too often lately. The reason for this is that they appear so frequently, that if I had always posted them in time, there wouldn’t have been enough time/space for other shoes. Luckily enough, Elise is busy with analyzing the work of the Frenchman, so if you’re looking for a Loubi-therapy, spend some time over at her place 🙂

However, my “to post” list of CL has grown so massive that I’ve decided it’s time to post parts of his genius work again.

To start with, I have the famous cage boots in various forms:

The Pigalle is officially timeless.

I’ve selected the following pictures because

  • Alicia Key’s version of these pumps is simply beautiful
  • I really like the whole look of Julie Benz (hair, coat, top, pants)
  • Top model Selita dons the original & the newest version of the Pigalle

The last pair is the shiny-shiny Poseidon, I like how it reflects light on the floor:

Do I see the older Heidi Montag in Victoria Silvstedt?

Hope you enjoyed it, now go shopping! 🙂

Face it: 2009 is almost over

For this reason, just like last year, I’ve selected a “few” stunning, quality pictures which focus on faces.
