The flood

Today I feature a lot of shoes, because I’m drowning in the pictures of the fashion week in NYC. Some of these images are from the FW, some of them aren’t, but I have to post these now otherwise I’m not sure if I’ll ever have the time again to talk about these pairs.

To start with, here is Charlize Theron. I guess it’s clear for those who didn’t know about it yet that she is like the face of Dior, which means we can be quite sure what she’s wearing.

Dior has a very interesting idea about shoes this season, it’s clear they’ve wanted to come up with something spectacular. The Cartagena has a 4,7″ heel and costs $1260. Hey girls, Christmas isn’t that far away…

I don’t know much about the first shoe in this picture, but I know that the Drape booties have a lower, only 3,5″ heel and costs $1040. Alexis’ pumps have 4,3″ heels and the price is “only” $820. BTW, is Siriano cute or more like annoying?

Moving on from the land of Dior, it’s time for some more sophisticated pairs. Solid work again by Jimmy Choo:

The facts: the Karina sandals have 4,3″ heels and are surprisingly expensive, $1150. The Globe (that’s what you’ve been looking for InsideMode, right?) has 3,9″ heels and a price tag of $745, while Blake’s Lance sandals would cost you around $1000.

How sick are these??? Brave fashionistas, go for them!

Last but not least, I’ve listed some more ankle boots/booties/shoe boots/cut out pumps:

The L.A.M.B. bootie is fitted with 4,5″ heels and have a quite good price of $355. Nicholas Kirkwood’s shoe boots have even higher heels, the highest of those that I’ve presented in this post, 5,5″ and it isn’t cheap either, $1020.

Among all the ankle boots I feature here, I have to admit that I like this Report Signature pair the most, it is simple but very cool in my opinion, plus the price isn’t horrible: $225. I still have to talk about Diane’s YSL pumps/booties, which have a 1,5″ platform (what a “surprise” from the brand) and 4,5″ heels. If you want one, you can it for $895. However, I’d advise you to look at those thin heels, it has “Pros only” written all over it…

Apropos, did you see who badly Joanna Garcia aka “Bree Buckley” walked in the first episode of the new season of Gossip Girl? Try to recall the part when she and Nate walk away from the helicopter. She should have asked for less high heels. You don’t want to look that bad, do you?
