The first shoe post of 2012!

10 Jan

Yes, finally, it was high time to do the first “spotted” post of the year. The blog starts 2012 with a post featuring shoes by Alexander Wang, Calvin Klein, Christian Louboutin, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gio Diev and Giuseppe Zanotti.

Rihanna in the “Chloe” sandals by Alexander Wang:

I really like its design, even though it’s not that special.

Model Christy Turlington in Calvin Klein shoes:

There’s no post without the heels designed by Christian “Red Sole” LouboutinKristen Bell knows the definition of high heels:

Julianne Hough chose something simple but nice enough to show off:

Stacy Ferguson celebrated New Year’s Eve in these fabulous sandals called “Palma” by Gio Diev:

Btw, the dress isn’t ugly either.

Not that she needs to be higher…

part 1, brought to you by Stacy Keibler:

part 2, brought to you by Charlize Theron:

Brilliant work by Mr Giuseppe Zanotti again!

Now it’s time for a bonus picture! Michelle Trachtenberg had a bad moment at the set of Gossip Girl as her – I believe YSL, but I’m not 100% sure – shoes let her down. She was in good mood though!

That’s it for now, I’m gearing up for a huge YSL and Jimmy Choo post that’s supposed to go online this weekend. Bye!

You may have realized that I always suggest you to buy the shoes of the current post – take a look at these shoes and you’ll know why 🙂

Without further ado, here’s Miranda Kerr in her new sandals of Bally’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection:

Up next, this is Amber Heard in Calvin Klein:

These shoes are almost literally from the runway!

Amber Heard is on fire these days, check out her whole look, including the Lady Peep pumps by Christian Louboutin:

“Christian once said that a “shoe has so much more to offer than just to walk.” Our beautiful “Lady Peep” gives you just that. Slip her on and you’ll find that wherever you wear her, you’ll be the most confident girl in the room.”  Well, it’s no wonder since these shoes have 5 cm platforms and 10 cm heels – get yours for $900.

Speaking of Louboutin, here’s another pair that will help you reach the sky:

Holly Madison‘s Louboutin has 5 cm platforms & 10 cm heels, it costs $900.

Because the time for (ankle)boots has arrived, you should take a look at the fall-ish version of the Daffodile pumps – it’s the Daf booty!

6 cm platform, 10 cm heels, $1.300 – a real killer in every aspect!

I know, I know, enough of the red soles for now, let’s see something different, like Taylor Swift’s Miu Miu shoes:

Because there are a few lucky readers here who are not facing the challenges of cold weather, here are two pairs that have summer written all over them.

The first one is by Ralph Lauren, worn here by Camilla Belle:

The “heels” are 11.5 cm high, it costs around $600.

The other pair screaming summer is this one:

This is the first ever appearance for both Kaya Scoledario & River Island!

For those who do need boots for the coming months, here is the 50/50 boots by Stuart Weitzman.

You may prefer flat boots, but with this eye catching pair you won’t be able to keep a low profile 🙂

The last one  for today is one of best known shoes worn here by a soon-to-be mom.

Give it up for Hilary Duff and YSL 😉

Which one do you like most? Any nay-s?

It’s time for shoes again!

Wow, finally the day has come when I can post shoes again! Because I haven’t posted heels in a while, you might have seen these shoes on other blogs already, but I don’t care, I’m going to post these beauties anyway. I’ve been told “you blog about what you like, it should make you happy”. Sure, whatevs 🙂

Soooo, where should I begin? Okay, let’s kick it off with Cesare Paciotti‘s marvelously detailed platform pumps, which you might have seen worn by Megan Fox alreadyNicole Scherzinger wanted to reproduce that look:

Who likes Cesare’s work, hands up!

The next pair of shoes is by Calvin Klein, it looks like a cute platform sandal for the summer:

I’m not sure however if it’s the right one for Vanessa Hudgens though…

Up next, two big hits by Christian Louboutin. First, here’s Ciara:

… and here’s Selita Ebanks:

The higher the better, right?

The last one for today is a pair that I desperately wanted to post a long time ago already. It’s Jimmy Choo’s Ontario, worn here by Karolina Kurkova.

Breathtaking. Amazing. Stunning.

I mean, does it get any better than this?

I hope I could show you a few pair of shoes that you can fall in love with 🙂

Have a nice weekend all!

Out of this world

27 Oct

I hardly know where to start.

Okay, the first one to tell you should be the good news that a couple of work-related hard weeks are now behind me, I should be back to normal again and visit your great blogs again.

A few days ago I’ve seen a huge exhibition about the work of Martin Munkacsi, one of (fashion)photography’s greatest figures in history. Talk about inspiration and role models…

But let’s get to the point, let’s talk about shoes.

So, what’s new, you’d ask. Well…

There’s this pair by Brian Atwood. Usually, his name means something good, but these particular heels generate mixed feelings in me. To be honest, I’m not sure about this one. Needless to say, I’m more than okay with Cheryl‘s look.

His inspiration could have been either go-go heels (does the name Taylor Momsen ring any bells?) or Prada’s chandelier heels. This is something in between. Anyway, I’m not a fan of transparent plastic, it looks so cheap – of course, these shoes aren’t cheap at all, at least I don’t consider a pair of shoes for $1.300 cheap. the heels are 15 cm high while the platform is 3 cm.

To my female readers: I present you your next girl crush.

These Calvin Klein heels can make anyone 6’2″.

Gwyneth‘s pair is less high and it is much more sophisticated, isn’t it?

Oh look, Kate Hudson had to get rid of her heels (and apparently of her hair dresser)! She tries to keep up with Gwyneth anyway 🙂

It’s been almost exactly two years since I’ve started blogging, and this is designer René Caovilla‘s first appearance on my blog. Shame on me.

The first one is a fabulous pair of the Spring-Summer 2010 collection, worn here by Katherine Heigl (in two different colors):

The Swarovski-fever continues in the Fall-Winter 2010 collection:

The last pair of heels in this post has been posted some weeks ago already, but back then I had no idea who the designer was. Now I know the designer and the marvelous Tricia Helfer gave me a reason to post it again:

11,5 cm heels and a hefty price tag: $1162 (at LUISAVIAROMA).

Now it’s time for me to let you drool about these shoes. Bye-bye!
