Shoes to show off this summer

1 Jun

As usual, I’ve prepared 10 pairs to present in this post. These shoes are made for the summer, so in case you can allow to treat yourself, here are a few ideas for you 🙂

The first one is by Walter Steiger (worn here by Adrienne Bailon), take a closer look at the trademark curved heel!

Colors, colors, colors – that’s what this season is about. Carmen Electra clearly loves awesome shoes, here are some new pairs she couldn’t resist buying:

1″ platform, 5,5″ heel, around $800.

New additions to her Louboutin collection:

The Meteorita: 1,5″ platform, 5,5″ heel, $1.800, and the No. 299 Trash has a 1″ platform, 6″ heels and costs at least $1.200.

She’s not that tall, no wonder she prefers to wear extremely high heels every now and then, like these bow sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti:

She also likes “mainstream” shoes, like YSL‘s classic platform pumps:

In case you’re looking for elegant evening shoes, here’s this very simple pair by Cesare Paciotti, worn here by the marvelous Irina Sheik:

Another fancy pair of shoes is the “Lance” by Jimmy Choo:

On nights that are somewhat chilly, light ankle boots like this one on Victoria Justice (made by Valentino) could be the solution.

The shoes you’ve seen in almost every editorial this spring are made by Prada. These shoes take you back in time and they are certainly very unique! Take a look at Kylie’s, it even has her monogram on the soles!

The last one for today also has summer written all over it. The cork wedges by Giuseppe Zanotti guarantee that you won’t go unnoticed if you hit the beach wearing them. Kendra Wilkinson‘s shoes have 1,75″ platforms, 6″ heels and she’s spent around $700 on them.

That’s it, have a nice weekend all!

Spice up your outfit!

26 May

Much-much later than I expected, finally I’m posting shoes again! As weeks went by, I missed a lot of action, but now I’m trying to make up for it. In this post, there are 10 pairs of shoes which I think really stand out from the crowd.

To begin with, here’s my muse Olivia Wilde and this unique pair by Aperlai:

Ms Wilde was on fire around that time (wildefire, haha), these Brian Atwood heels are one of a kind:

Speaking of Brian Atwood, his summer-ish heels have hit the stores and Emma Roberts decided to don the Bellini:

If Olivia Wilde was on fire, the same goes for Rihanna. Her shoe closet must be growing day by day! Here’s Riri in the thigh-high boots by Christian Louboutin that she wore here before:

These are much more sophisticated shoes by Azzedine Alaia:

Since she’s a real fashionista, one can’t be surprised to see her wearing sandals for Alexander Wang‘s Spring-Summer 2012 collection:

Casadei have upped their game lately. These pumps worn here by Lauren Conrad could remind us of their trademark platform pumps:

Kim Kardashian became a huge fan of the Casadei “Blade” pumps, she posted lost of pictures from that night on her Instagram account.

However, she is still a huge supporter of Christian Louboutin’s work. The “Isolde” is a breathtaking pair for sure:

The Pigalle-based “Un Bout” is a hit this year. Apparently not just Kim, but also Elle MacPherson and Brooklyn Decker like these ankle strap sandals too:

This is for now, I hope you like what you see. Which one is your favorite pair?

Winter? What winter?

7 Dec

It’s winter in many parts of the Earth these days – cold, wet, nasty weather to sum it up. Yet there are some lucky ladies who don’t face the challenges of this season or they are simply tough & they’re used to cold weather. These ladies and their shoes are presented in this post. Enjoy!

The first one is a really stunning one by Brian Atwood, just take a look carefully at the details!

It’s color is called “botanic mix”, and it has 14 cm heels.

Jess, you’re fab and nearly perfect, but please remove that effin sticker!

Now I have to post Louboutin again, I can’t help it.

Sofia Vergara and the Lady Daf:

The next one is Selma Blair and the New Helmut:

The third pair by Christian Louboutin in this post is the Pigalle, worn here by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley:

The last Loubi in this post, the Toutenkaboucle was seen on Jennifer Lopez:

To be fair, there was someone who felt like it was time for boots. Megan Fox wore Christian Dior’s Intrigante over-the-knee suede and leather boots. It has a 13 cm high heel and costs a whopping $1.200:

As far as I remember, it’s pretty damn cold in England in December too, yet while I was wearing everything I owned because I was freezing, the locals were dressed like it was September in Sicily. That said, look at the marvelous Keira Knightley and her gorgeous outfit, including the Salvatore Ferragamo ankle strap heels:

Up next: Kate Bosworth in her Jonathan Kelsey pumps. Note the damaged heel:

These pumps look very similar to each other, but they’re not the same.

The last one in this post it Sofia Vergara wearing peep toe platform slingbacks by Giuseppe Zanotti and peep toe pumps by Stuart Weitzman.

Any favourites?

Guess what, shoes!

2 Nov

With all the celebrations over, it’s time to focus on posting shoes again. Before I move on to the 11 pairs in this post, let me just share some statistics from the blog with you.

Thank you everyone!

Okay, let’s see what you came for. These are all shoe sightings that I couldn’t post so far.

The first is Jessica Alba on the cover of the July (I’m sorry) issue of Fairlady Magazine:

The shoes are Michael Kors, seen here worn by Karolina Kurkova.

It’s been a while since Brian Atwood shoes were featured. Knock yourself out; Emma Roberts, Kristen Bell, Ashley Tisdale, Minka Kelly, Kyle Richards, Jennifer Lopez and Rachel Bilson love these heels.

Up next this is Isla Fisher in Christian Louboutin “Bibi” pumps:

Evan Rachel Wood likes to think outside the box, she decided to wear Elie Saab:

Michelle Monaghan in the two tone pumps by Versace:

Last but not least a pair of shoes by YSL that I’m not a big fan of – I think it’s ugly, to be plain and simple:

Aubrey O’Day and Eliza Dushku have different opinions.

That’s it for now. Return on Friday & I promise you there will be a new post 🙂
