Spice up your outfit!

26 May

Much-much later than I expected, finally I’m posting shoes again! As weeks went by, I missed a lot of action, but now I’m trying to make up for it. In this post, there are 10 pairs of shoes which I think really stand out from the crowd.

To begin with, here’s my muse Olivia Wilde and this unique pair by Aperlai:

Ms Wilde was on fire around that time (wildefire, haha), these Brian Atwood heels are one of a kind:

Speaking of Brian Atwood, his summer-ish heels have hit the stores and Emma Roberts decided to don the Bellini:

If Olivia Wilde was on fire, the same goes for Rihanna. Her shoe closet must be growing day by day! Here’s Riri in the thigh-high boots by Christian Louboutin that she wore here before:

These are much more sophisticated shoes by Azzedine Alaia:

Since she’s a real fashionista, one can’t be surprised to see her wearing sandals for Alexander Wang‘s Spring-Summer 2012 collection:

Casadei have upped their game lately. These pumps worn here by Lauren Conrad could remind us of their trademark platform pumps:

Kim Kardashian became a huge fan of the Casadei “Blade” pumps, she posted lost of pictures from that night on her Instagram account.

However, she is still a huge supporter of Christian Louboutin’s work. The “Isolde” is a breathtaking pair for sure:

The Pigalle-based “Un Bout” is a hit this year. Apparently not just Kim, but also Elle MacPherson and Brooklyn Decker like these ankle strap sandals too:

This is for now, I hope you like what you see. Which one is your favorite pair?

The first shoe post of 2012!

10 Jan

Yes, finally, it was high time to do the first “spotted” post of the year. The blog starts 2012 with a post featuring shoes by Alexander Wang, Calvin Klein, Christian Louboutin, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gio Diev and Giuseppe Zanotti.

Rihanna in the “Chloe” sandals by Alexander Wang:

I really like its design, even though it’s not that special.

Model Christy Turlington in Calvin Klein shoes:

There’s no post without the heels designed by Christian “Red Sole” LouboutinKristen Bell knows the definition of high heels:

Julianne Hough chose something simple but nice enough to show off:

Stacy Ferguson celebrated New Year’s Eve in these fabulous sandals called “Palma” by Gio Diev:

Btw, the dress isn’t ugly either.

Not that she needs to be higher…

part 1, brought to you by Stacy Keibler:

part 2, brought to you by Charlize Theron:

Brilliant work by Mr Giuseppe Zanotti again!

Now it’s time for a bonus picture! Michelle Trachtenberg had a bad moment at the set of Gossip Girl as her – I believe YSL, but I’m not 100% sure – shoes let her down. She was in good mood though!

That’s it for now, I’m gearing up for a huge YSL and Jimmy Choo post that’s supposed to go online this weekend. Bye!

This post should have appeared last Sunday but I was abroad, but now I’m able to post the best pictures (without the models at various fashion weeks) of last month.

It’s almost winter

31 Oct

Today is supposed to be Polyvore day and indeed it is! I haven’t used that fantastic service for a while, but there’s no better way to showcase a few shoes. Since winter is just around the corner, it might be appropriate this time to see what choices you have for this season. Well, if you happen to have that amount of money – anyway, let’s just drop those jaws 🙂

The boots in the outer circle are for the colder days – yet I’d say, be careful if there’s ice on the road.

Clockwise, starting at “1 o’clock”: ‘Iris’ by United Nude, Versace, ‘Chippy’ by Stuart Weitzman, Lanvin (not the one for H&M), ‘Tundra’ by Christian Louboutin, Burberry, Brian Atwood, Azzedine Alaia, ‘Polina’ by Alexander Wang, Alexander McQueen, Alejandro Ingelmo, ‘Admire’ by Acne.

I simply had to include a few more heels in this post, those are the three pairs in the middle. If winter does not affect you too much, these are the must-haves for these months: the “Palais Mohawk” suede pump by YSL ($1.200), then there is the studded T-bar lizard pump by Valentino ($1.300) and the fab spine pump by Dsquared2 ($1.275).
