You would proudly wear these heels!

15 Feb

It is the time of the year when it’s all about fashion weeks, so it might not be surprising for regular readers to see me a tiny bit de-focused. However, I am able to get it together /hellyeahsmiley: insert here/ and post shoes that I just cannot forget about.

To start with, here’s Katy “IwantotkeepupwithGaga&Nicki” Perry and her ah-mazing McQueen wedges:

German singer Michelle wore McQueen booties:

I should have posted the magnificient Charlize Theron wearing the brand new Givenchy heels a lot earlier, but you know…

These heels are almost straight from the runway, it’s quite possible that these are my favorite shoes from this season, even though there were lots of really nice heels to spot.

Simple heels from Elie Saab worn perfectly by Mila Kunis:

Shoeaholics should be familiar with these black Casadei platform pumps worn by Vanessa Hudgens:

Talk about Casadei…Elizabeth Banks rocked these heels:

They look really good, don’t they?

Mr Christian Louboutin is on fire as always:

Emma Watson wore a mutant Pigalle called Crosspiga:

Kristen Bell has chosen a real looker, it’s called the Duvette:

I’ve saved the best for last. The beautiful Diane Krüger‘s outfit is flawless, and just look at these Zanotti shoes! Gorgeous!

Closeups:

Which would YOU like to see in your closet?

Insane heights

9 Feb

Welcome to a new shoe-post! It’s been a while and I’ve got a lot of heels to show you!

Apparently it’s still winter at certain regions of the world and ladies need boots. Burberry’s ankle boots were a tiny bit over-hyped after the presentation last year – they look good, many fashionistas want them but only a few ladies can actually afford and wear them. The season is far from over, this pair might get more popular eventually.

And some more pictures from Hilary Duff as she shopped in Paris:

It’s been quiet around Casadei lately, luckily Sofia Vergara decided to wear a classic and Anne Hathaway wore a pair from the brand’s new collection.

Here’s Anne Hathaway in a summer-ish outfit:

I started to wonder whether it’s possible to create a post without mentioning Christian Louboutin or not. I guess it’s not – is that a problem? 😀

Call me cheap/mainstream/male but I like Kim’s whole look:

The shoe of the Spring/Summer 2011 collection has a 15 cm heel (6 inches!) and a pair costs $1.665. They say: “Sky-high and surprisingly comfortable, dance until sunrise in these 6″ stunners. And snag your size while you can ladies; our online boutique is the only place where you can find these in hot pink!” Well, it’s already sold out in four sizes!

Jennifer Lopez wore a lovely pair at a Gillette event; it is called Boulima and it’s like the Maggie with an ankle strap.

It makes you even taller than the one worn by Kim Kardashian since it has 16 cm heels (6.3 inches). A pair would cost you $1.125 and it’s Boutique Exclusive as well – and almost totally sold out!

The last pair by Louboutin in this post is the “Titi” which you might have seen here already, now Emily Blunt wore it in a neutral color:

It’s designed with 12 cm (4.7″) heels and the price is around $700.

To have a rather special pair as the last picture of the post, I’ve chosen these ankle boots by Alexander McQueen, worn here by Tamara Ecclestone:

This pair is a piece of art, isn’t it?

That’s it for now, expect a new post to appear on Friday!

Winter IS here

28 Nov

There are these six girls living in various big cities of the world, all of them are aware of the fact that winter is approaching. The High Heel Times has asked them to show their three favorite shoes: the one that they would wear at work, the one that they would pull on if they’d go to a party and their boots for the colder days.

Whitney‘s selection surely has been influenced by a certain socialite’s look and she loves to wear the flat OTK boots when shopping.

Imogen in LA is neither afraid of winter nor of spending a lot of money. She also likes to keep it high and I can’t blame her.

Nicole is like the perfect British girl: trendy when at work, wears sky-high heels when she goes to a party and keeps it comfy and casual in her free time.

Thérése is classy. She wears elegant pumps to work, crazy mohawk pumps at du club and designer boots that are totally in right now.

Elisabetta living “next door” likes to look fab as well. The hot pair by Valentino grabbed her attention as well, but she prefers the flat one for work. Her heels for the night out are spectacular, just like her fluffy boots.

Rumiko mixes it all: lace up ankle boots for work, wild boots (?) for parties and statement boots for colder days.

How do you like what you see? What do you like these days?

It’s almost winter

31 Oct

Today is supposed to be Polyvore day and indeed it is! I haven’t used that fantastic service for a while, but there’s no better way to showcase a few shoes. Since winter is just around the corner, it might be appropriate this time to see what choices you have for this season. Well, if you happen to have that amount of money – anyway, let’s just drop those jaws 🙂

The boots in the outer circle are for the colder days – yet I’d say, be careful if there’s ice on the road.

Clockwise, starting at “1 o’clock”: ‘Iris’ by United Nude, Versace, ‘Chippy’ by Stuart Weitzman, Lanvin (not the one for H&M), ‘Tundra’ by Christian Louboutin, Burberry, Brian Atwood, Azzedine Alaia, ‘Polina’ by Alexander Wang, Alexander McQueen, Alejandro Ingelmo, ‘Admire’ by Acne.

I simply had to include a few more heels in this post, those are the three pairs in the middle. If winter does not affect you too much, these are the must-haves for these months: the “Palais Mohawk” suede pump by YSL ($1.200), then there is the studded T-bar lizard pump by Valentino ($1.300) and the fab spine pump by Dsquared2 ($1.275).
