Winter? What winter?

7 Dec

It’s winter in many parts of the Earth these days – cold, wet, nasty weather to sum it up. Yet there are some lucky ladies who don’t face the challenges of this season or they are simply tough & they’re used to cold weather. These ladies and their shoes are presented in this post. Enjoy!

The first one is a really stunning one by Brian Atwood, just take a look carefully at the details!

It’s color is called “botanic mix”, and it has 14 cm heels.

Jess, you’re fab and nearly perfect, but please remove that effin sticker!

Now I have to post Louboutin again, I can’t help it.

Sofia Vergara and the Lady Daf:

The next one is Selma Blair and the New Helmut:

The third pair by Christian Louboutin in this post is the Pigalle, worn here by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley:

The last Loubi in this post, the Toutenkaboucle was seen on Jennifer Lopez:

To be fair, there was someone who felt like it was time for boots. Megan Fox wore Christian Dior’s Intrigante over-the-knee suede and leather boots. It has a 13 cm high heel and costs a whopping $1.200:

As far as I remember, it’s pretty damn cold in England in December too, yet while I was wearing everything I owned because I was freezing, the locals were dressed like it was September in Sicily. That said, look at the marvelous Keira Knightley and her gorgeous outfit, including the Salvatore Ferragamo ankle strap heels:

Up next: Kate Bosworth in her Jonathan Kelsey pumps. Note the damaged heel:

These pumps look very similar to each other, but they’re not the same.

The last one in this post it Sofia Vergara wearing peep toe platform slingbacks by Giuseppe Zanotti and peep toe pumps by Stuart Weitzman.

20th anniversary of Christian Louboutin

25 Nov

The French magician celebrated his brand’s 20th anniversary this week. I don’t think there are a lot of people out there who don’t appreciate his design; obviously there has been much to celebrate for the fashion world.

It’s possible that I don’t like one or two of his designs, but generally I truly admire his work. I won’t continue praising him now by writing 20 more lines that you won’t read, I let the pictures do the talking. Bottom line is:

There are 2 pages about him in the November issue of InStyle magazine:

10 legal ways to get high

The day has come for another big shoe post! I don’t want you to be disappointed which is why I have chosen ten marvelous shoes to present in this post.

To start with, here’s Jessica Alba wearing Armani heels:

The next one is Twilight star Nikki Reed in Casadei peep toe ankle boots:

I love the details! 3 cm platform, 15 cm heels; this pair will cost you $1.150.

Nicky Hilton can’t get enough of these wedges by Diane von Furstenberg:

Costs $275, has a 1 inch platform & a 4.5″ heel; it comes in khaki and black too.

Lucy Hale wore these simple Giuseppe Zanotti ankle boots:

These heel-less pumps are the highlights of this post – at least in my opinion:

Victoria Justice is not the first to wear these, Lucy Hale wore them here.

I can’t get enough of Giuseppe Zanotti. These wedges are gorgeous!

Apparently, Hilary Duff and Amanda Righetti are big fans too.

I was never sure about Marni‘s shoes, I still cannot decide whether these heels are cool or just simply ugly.

However, I am a big fan of Ruthie Davis‘. Her work is extraordinary, I hope she’ll be able to keep the momentum and amaze us in the coming years as well. Just look at these pumps worn here by Mena Suvari. Mindf*ck!

Yvonne Strahovski‘s stylist for the shoot has chosen RD shoes too:

We have reached the end of this post, there’s only one more pair of shoes to present. For some, this may be the actual highlight of the post – Miranda Kerr in Tabitha Simmons:

The “Dulcina” comes in other colors too, has a 0.75″ platform and 4.75″ heels, the price tag says $900 (or $615 on the brand’s website).

Which one is YOUR favorite? Any opinions?

You may have realized that I always suggest you to buy the shoes of the current post – take a look at these shoes and you’ll know why 🙂

Without further ado, here’s Miranda Kerr in her new sandals of Bally’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection:

Up next, this is Amber Heard in Calvin Klein:

These shoes are almost literally from the runway!

Amber Heard is on fire these days, check out her whole look, including the Lady Peep pumps by Christian Louboutin:

“Christian once said that a “shoe has so much more to offer than just to walk.” Our beautiful “Lady Peep” gives you just that. Slip her on and you’ll find that wherever you wear her, you’ll be the most confident girl in the room.”  Well, it’s no wonder since these shoes have 5 cm platforms and 10 cm heels – get yours for $900.

Speaking of Louboutin, here’s another pair that will help you reach the sky:

Holly Madison‘s Louboutin has 5 cm platforms & 10 cm heels, it costs $900.

Because the time for (ankle)boots has arrived, you should take a look at the fall-ish version of the Daffodile pumps – it’s the Daf booty!

6 cm platform, 10 cm heels, $1.300 – a real killer in every aspect!

I know, I know, enough of the red soles for now, let’s see something different, like Taylor Swift’s Miu Miu shoes:

Because there are a few lucky readers here who are not facing the challenges of cold weather, here are two pairs that have summer written all over them.

The first one is by Ralph Lauren, worn here by Camilla Belle:

The “heels” are 11.5 cm high, it costs around $600.

The other pair screaming summer is this one:

This is the first ever appearance for both Kaya Scoledario & River Island!

For those who do need boots for the coming months, here is the 50/50 boots by Stuart Weitzman.

You may prefer flat boots, but with this eye catching pair you won’t be able to keep a low profile 🙂

The last one  for today is one of best known shoes worn here by a soon-to-be mom.

Give it up for Hilary Duff and YSL 😉

Which one do you like most? Any nay-s?
