Spice up your outfit!

26 May

Much-much later than I expected, finally I’m posting shoes again! As weeks went by, I missed a lot of action, but now I’m trying to make up for it. In this post, there are 10 pairs of shoes which I think really stand out from the crowd.

To begin with, here’s my muse Olivia Wilde and this unique pair by Aperlai:

Ms Wilde was on fire around that time (wildefire, haha), these Brian Atwood heels are one of a kind:

Speaking of Brian Atwood, his summer-ish heels have hit the stores and Emma Roberts decided to don the Bellini:

If Olivia Wilde was on fire, the same goes for Rihanna. Her shoe closet must be growing day by day! Here’s Riri in the thigh-high boots by Christian Louboutin that she wore here before:

These are much more sophisticated shoes by Azzedine Alaia:

Since she’s a real fashionista, one can’t be surprised to see her wearing sandals for Alexander Wang‘s Spring-Summer 2012 collection:

Casadei have upped their game lately. These pumps worn here by Lauren Conrad could remind us of their trademark platform pumps:

Kim Kardashian became a huge fan of the Casadei “Blade” pumps, she posted lost of pictures from that night on her Instagram account.

However, she is still a huge supporter of Christian Louboutin’s work. The “Isolde” is a breathtaking pair for sure:

The Pigalle-based “Un Bout” is a hit this year. Apparently not just Kim, but also Elle MacPherson and Brooklyn Decker like these ankle strap sandals too:

This is for now, I hope you like what you see. Which one is your favorite pair?

Christian Louboutin – la mise à jour

3 Mar

It is high time to catch up with Mr Louboutin’s products, it seems like he never sleeps!

Rihanna is a big fan for sure, here’s a recap of what she wore lately.

The Lady Max has 10 cm heels, costs $1.275. The Duvette has 12 heels, costs $650, while the good ol’ Pigalle has 12 cm heels and now only costs $560. Look, she was wearing the one pair that Christian Louboutin signed for her!

These quite extreme boots have 10 cm heels and a pair costs a whopping $3.795! I wonder 1. who has the money to buy those 2. who has the courage to wear those (I mean, this really has written hooker all over it).

I really adore the style of Maria Menounos, she never dissappoints when it comes to shoes in particular:

Kate Beckinsale wore the brand new edition of the Lady Peep:

Price: $785, height: 15 cm (heel), 2,5 cm (platform).

Rising star Shailene Woodley wore different Louboutins at the same event:

Really nice, isn’t it?

There are still 13 more pictures!

There’s always room for more shoes

I hope you’ll agree with me on this one when you finish reading this post 🙂

Bally is a brand for sophisticated people; Jennifer Aniston was more likely to wear the shoes from Switzerland than Lady Gaga:

I think Charlotte Olympia works by the motto “don’t change a winning formula” and she really sticks to it. She designed those sky-high platform pumps a few years ago, and she only changes the “carrosserie” since then. Works every time!

There are fake Charlotte Olympia shoes all over the world, the pair worn here by Katy Perry is no exception, so be careful if you buy heels online.

Rebecca Romijn wore Balmain sandals a few weeks ago:

Rachel McAdams has chosen these pointy toe pumps by Jimmy Choo:

Lea Michele decided to wear Jimmy Choo at the People’s Choice Awards:

However, Lea’s heart belongs to Casadei. It’s not the first time she wore these pumps:

It’s been a while since I last posted Rupert Sanderson shoes. Amber Heard wore the Estelle sandals to the Michael Kors show at the New York Fashion Week:

Walter Steiger is back in the game too. Malin Akerman has recently shown her love for the brand on two occassions:

Victoria Beckham even collaborates with Walter Steiger. She tweeted: “Walter Steiger for #victoriavictoriabeckham -presenting tomorrow! X vb”

Two days later, she wore those ankle boots to the launch of her collection:

This is it for now, here’s the posting schedule for this week:

  • Model Monday (surprise) on Monday with pictures from London and Milan
  • Giuseppe Zanotti post on Wednesday
  • Christian Louboutin post on Friday
  • Best of February post on Sunday.

Update on Yves Saint Laurent shoes

15 Jan

Since I haven’t really posted YSLs lately, it was high time to do a megapost with pictures of the famous Tribute pumps and other heels designed by the house. By now everyone knows that the Tribtoo simply cannot be hidden in the wardrobe, it is still “in”, especially because new, somewhat modified Tribtoos appeared in the stores – those are in this post as well.

YSL fans, enjoy! 🙂

The night begins (and usually ends) barefoot:

Jennifer Love Hewitt wears these golden YSL sandals often:

First generation Tribute platforms can still be spotted:

YSL Tribtoo pumps on Tamara Ecclestone and Lily Aldridge:

Sarah Michelle Gellar (5’2) and Amanda Seyfried (5’3) need those extra inches:

Paula Abdul went for a brighter color version:

Britney owns YSL boots, while Salma Hayek has a slingback Tribtoo:

Alexa Vega is a big fan for sure:

As promised, here are the new, 2012 YSL Tribtoos, brought to you by Carmen Electra and Brandy Norwood:

Austrian TV host Mirjam Weichselbraun bought YSL heels too:

Last but not least here are the very good looking wedges, worn here by Mariah Carey and Emily Procter:

That’s it, come back tomorrow to see the new Model Monday post!
