After all the long days of waiting, finally it has begun. One of the most anticipated events of the year, the New York Fashion Week has begun, and thanks to online streams, even I, living thousands of kilometers away from NYC, can enjoy most of the shows live.
I can’t chat neither with Anna Wintour nor with Emmanuelle Alt while sitting in the front row, but thanks to Twitter I can chat with many fashion lovers. However, I wouldn’t say “no” next year if I happened to be invited to one or two shows 🙂
Let’s start with the pictures, shall we?
A few days before NYFW’s kick-off, Fashion’s Night Out was the event to attend (for example both in NY and in London). The following pictures are from the location in New York:

One of the first shows of NYFW was streamed, it was the one by Christian Siriano. I had pretty high expectations regarding the shoes, mainly because he has amazed us previously with many marvelous creations. He did not disappoint me – and though I don’t know much about dresses (I can decide whether I like it or not, nothing else), I have to say I like what I saw.

PS.: As there won’t be many more votes about the question whether it’s okay to wear boots in summer or not, I tell you that the results so far are 53% yes and 47% no. Looks like my readers are basically undecided on this topic! I didn’t expect the results to be so close! Now we know: you can’t go wrong with boots in summer! 😀

It is my goal to some year be in a seat at any fashion show in NYC during NYFW!! Till then I’m content watching in livestream as well.
Can I just say I love Blake and Leighton! Both of their dresses are gorgeous! Especially Leighton’s-if only I could have that body to with it.
Loved Christian’s show (thank god the cameras zoomed in!) Those last two dresses of the show though-reminded me as if the model got swallowed up by all the extra fabric. Can’t wait to see close ups of his shoes on style.com!
